Lab Testing

Lab Testing in Scottsdale, AZ, Ordered & Interpreted by Dr. Robinson

Pain and fatigue rarely come from one thing. Most clinics can order a blood test, but at AZMulticare Dr. Robinson reads the results with you, then builds your treatment plan around what they show. No waiting for another office to make sense of the numbers.

Not sure which panel fits? That is exactly what the first conversation is for. Dr. Robinson will tell you plainly if a test would not change your care plan, and save you the money.

Why a Chiropractic Clinic Orders Lab Tests

Dr. Jeffrey Robinson (D.C., Arizona license #7208) built his practice around finding the root cause of pain instead of treating symptoms only. That means looking at more than alignment, hormones, inflammation, blood sugar, gut health, and environmental toxins like mold can all drive the aches, brain fog, and fatigue patients walk in with.

In the office, Dr. Robinson uses applied kinesiology, clinical muscle testing he has used since 2010, to spot areas of weakness that suggest something is off biochemically. Lab work confirms what the body is already telling you. The two tools point in the same direction: what needs to change for your symptoms to actually resolve.

He has also practiced acupuncture since 2006 and published research on mycotoxins and biofilms, which is why mold exposure testing is a core part of this practice rather than an afterthought. From there the plan usually combines adjustments, acupuncture or other therapies, nutrition changes, and retesting to confirm the trend is moving the right way.

How Lab Testing Works at AZMulticare

01

Talk It Through First

You describe the symptoms, and Dr. Robinson picks the panel that will actually answer your question, sometimes one test, sometimes two or three together.

02

Get Tested Your Way

Blood panels run from a lab script we email after ordering. You get drawn at a convenient location. Stool, urine and hormone collections use kits shipped to your door.

03

The Lab Runs Your Panel

Results are emailed directly to you and Dr. Robinson, typically within days for blood work and one to three weeks for stool, urine and hormone panels.

04

Read Results Together

Dr. Robinson reviews every marker and calls you, not just what fell outside a reference range, but what the pattern means for your day-to-day life.

What Happens After Your Results Come Back

This is the part most lab marketplaces cannot offer. When your report arrives, Dr. Robinson reads it against your history, your body mechanics and your goals. His follow-up call covers three things:

  • What each marker means for you specifically, not just whether it is inside a reference range. Functional ranges matter. A value can be “normal” and still explain your symptoms.
  • How the result connects to what we see in the room: the muscle-testing findings, your posture habits, your sleep and stress patterns.
  • The plan: which adjustments or therapies to do first, what to change nutritionally, with Fullscript supplements when useful, and when to retest so you can see the trend move.

If a result points to something outside this practice (red-flag values that need a medical doctor, for example) we say so directly and help you get the right referral. You should never have to guess where your care is headed.

Testing That Happens Right Here: No Kit Required

Beyond lab panels, AZMulticare runs applied-kinesiology food sensitivity testing in the office, so you can identify problem foods during your visit without waiting on a mail-in kit. It is a different tool than an IgG blood panel, and it works well alongside one, we will explain both when they apply to your situation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a chiropractor really order lab tests?

Yes. Dr. Jeffrey Robinson uses functional laboratory testing as part of his Scottsdale practice. He selects the panel, you complete the blood draw at a lab of your script’s choosing or a collection kit mailed to you, and he personally reviews the results with you before building your treatment plan.

Do I need a referral from my medical doctor to get tested here?

No referral is needed. Panels are ordered directly at AZMulticare, and you can book an appointment online or call (480) 991-5555. If a result does point toward medical care, we will refer you out clearly.

What is the difference between these panels?

Each one answers a different question, blood panels like Opti-Plus look at inflammation, hormones and metabolism; GI-MAP profiles your gut microbiome from stool; mycotoxin urine testing measures mold toxin load in your body; OAT looks at metabolic function; DUTCH maps sex hormones and cortisol. Dr. Robinson matches the panel to your symptoms first.

How does the mycotoxin test work?

Your MycoTox kit is mailed to you. Collect a first-morning urine sample and return it the same day or freeze it and send it later using the prepaid label and box. Results are emailed to you and Dr. Robinson within 5–7 business days, and he calls for follow-up and recommendations.

What happens if my results are “normal” but I still feel unwell?

That is common, and it is exactly what the follow-up review with Dr. Robinson addresses. We review values against functional ranges rather than only reference ranges, combine them with applied kinesiology findings from your body, and build a plan around what the pattern actually suggests.

How do home mold plates work?

ImmunoLytics mold plates ship to your door with complete instructions. Expose the plates in your chosen rooms or vehicle for one hour, seal them, and either mail them back in the prepaid box or analyze them yourself with the provided guide. Lab results arrive within 3–7 business days; with a lab submission, an ImmunoLytics Indoor Environmental Professional (IEP), supervised by JW Biava, CMI, CMRC, reviews your results, explains the mold genera identified and makes recommendations.
